I need to know the shipping cost before placing the order
You will know exactly how much the shipping will cost before placing the order.
In order to calculate the shipping cost before placing an order, add an item to the shopping cart, then click on "View Cart." From there you can either continue to the checkout or use the shipping calculator. To use the

What are the shipping options and cut off times?
We ship our products from our warehouses in the United States, using
FedEx
as our main delivery carrier.

is used primarily for military APO and FPO addresses. We ship 98% of our daily orders on the same day.
However we do not offer the Same Day Delivery

We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays and all major holidays. You can determine the cost of your shipment either in "Check Out" process or by using CompuVest shipping calculator. The system will automatically calculate cost of delivery based on the method of delivery, weight of the product, destination state and a cost of insurance. We will contact you if the actual price differs. If you need a different type of delivery, not listed above, please call us to make special arrangements.

Will everything that I ordered ship together?
Not necessarily. In order to provide the fastest (on time) service we may ship products from different warehouses. Sometimes the products are available in one location, and not another. We try to coordinate the shipments so that our customers get everything on time. There is no effect on customer's shipping charges. This is a part of our customer satisfaction program.

Can I pick up my order?
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide this service at this time. This option is only available for local contracted companies. All other orders must be shipped from the warehouse.

Do you ship to military APO?
Military orders can ONLY be shipped via US Mail (USPS). Even if you choose another shipping option when placing an order, it will be shipped via USPS.

How do I track the package?
After the order is shipped tracking information will be uploaded to the
Order Tracking
page within one business day. A customer must call the carrier with the tracking number to determine the location of a package. Once the carrier has picked up the package, travel time is out of our control. If you suspect the package was lost or delivered to the wrong address, please read
"I am missing part of my order"
section to fill out a special form.

What are the payment options for orders shipped to US?
For orders shipped to US we accept major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express). We also accept COD, bank wire transfer, and Western Union. For information on how to make a payment correctly please visit the

What are the payment options for international customers?
For orders shipped outside of US we accept payments made by American Express credit card, bank wire transfer or Western Union. For information on how to make a payment correctly please visit the

Government, Educational or Corporate qualify terms.
CompuVest is proud to serve Government, Educational and Corporate organizations. We accept purchase orders and offer special pricing and payment arrangements for large orders.
Typically we offer Net 30 terms for Government, Educational, and Corporate clients. In order to process your PO we must receive a copy of the PO signed by the purchasing agent of your organization. The PO must clearly indicate billing and shipping addresses, contact phone and fax numbers. Corporate clients must supply us with bank and trade references, along with the Dun & Bradstreet number. Corporate orders are subject to credit approval. All sales and return policies apply to all CompuVest customers.
In order to enter correct pricing and shipping information on the PO, you can can either call us to verify prices and shipping charges, or simply print out the order in the check out process with exact prices and shipping charges. What does OEM, Bulk, Refurbished, Extra Life... mean?
OEM, Bulk, Plain Box
products have the following features:
- No fancy packaging
(Plain box product comes in a plain box, OEM or Bulk - in an anti-static wrap.)
- Accessories may differ
(Accessories that usually come with the retail version may or may not be included.)
- User's manual may differ
(User's manual may be abridged or not included. Please use
Manufacturer's
web site for complete manuals.)
- Software bundle may differ
(Usually those products include drivers, but not include additional software that comes with the retail version of the product.)
- Technical support from manufacturer may differ
(Usually manufacturers do not offer full technical support to end users on these types of products. The cost of technical support that you pay for when purchasing a retail version is not included when you purchase OEM, Bulk or Plain Box version.)
- Warranty period may differ
(Please check the warranty on the item description. If it differs from "normal" manufacturer's warranty, we specify the warranty in the product description.)
Retail
- These products you will see on a retail store shelf. Packages include accessories and bundled software advertised by manufacturer. They are intended for an end-user.
Multi-pack
- Products are packaged in bulk by 5-100 pieces per box. Multi-pack products usually come with one Manual and one set of Drivers per box, not per item.
Retail Open Box
- This is new product in the original packaging but has been opened and possibly used for a short time, usually a demonstration unit. Since these items can not be advertised as Retail product, they are sold as "Open Box". They may not include all accessories that usually come with Retail Packaging.
New Pulls/OEM
- Products are New, usually purchased in Bulk by us. This equipment was disassemble from whole new units for reselling. Products do not come with software or instructions unless indicated. Products are inspected by Compuvest technicians to ensure it is fully functional.
Factory Refurbished
- Products are Refurbished to the exact manufacturer specifications by the original manufacturer in a certified refurbishing center. Products may be used or unused and have been cleaned, quality checked and tested, they have been serviced if needed by the manufacturer's certified center. Factory Refurbished products can have minor cosmetic blemishes and may or may not come with Manuals, Batteries or Back up Disks, unless indicated.
Refurbished
- Products are refurbished by a 3rd part facility, not the original manufacturer. These products may have minor cosmetic blemishes due to normal usage. Products have been tested and generally have never had any defects. Products may or may not come with Manual, Batteries or Back up Disks, unless indicated. Compuvest ensures these products are cleaned to our highest standards.
Reconditioned
- These products are required to pass a careful assessment and testing by Compuvest Technicians before they are released to the customer. These products are packaged in their reconditioned form and may include basic accessories such as Cables and/or Batteries, check the item description for detailed list of accessories.
Used Pulls
- Products are pulled from a whole used unit for reselling, it is purchased by us in Bulk and may have minor scratches and blemishes. These products do not come with Software or Instructions unless otherwise indicated. Compuvest Technicians have inspected this product to ensure it is fully functional.
"Extra Life" Tapes
- 100% Guaranteed for life. Only tapes that pass all phases of the process can be sold as "Extra Life". A visual hands-on inspection for mechanical and cosmetic defects is conducted; all labels and barcodes are removed. All data is destroyed using data tape and drive manufacturer approved processes, this insures the security and confidentiality of the data. Tapes are tested to insure their performance with acceptance standards higher then original OEM standards for new tapes. Packaging includes new case, new j-card insert, security seal, shrink-wrap and cardboard sleeve. "Extra Life" tapes will be recognized and treated by the drive the same as blank, new tapes.

What is the order acceptance policy?
Your submission of an order and/or receipt of an order confirmation, automated or otherwise, does not signify our acceptance of such order. CompuVest reserves the right to cancel any order that we deem necessary, at our sole discretion, regardless of the order status or whether you have received a confirmation of the order. We reserve the right to require additional information from you before accepting or processing any order.
Price changes, Errors, and Omissions:
In the event that an incorrect price is listed due to typographical, informational, technical or other error, CompuVest shall have the right, at our sole discretion, to either honor the displayed price or refuse/cancel any orders placed for that product with incorrectly listed price. CompuVest reserves the right to honor or refuse prices within two days from the time of purchase. CompuVest reserves the right to make adjustments due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or typographical errors in advertisements.

What is the return policy?
Return Policy
Customer cannot return any product without the return authorization.
Effective April 10, AMD CPUs have 2 months functional warranty, Intel - 5 months (see description of the item for detail). All discontinued CPUs of the above mentioned brands have 14 days functional warranty from the date of the invoice. All other items carry 1- year warranty unless the advertisement/ description on the sale invoice states otherwise. All returns must be received by our RMA Department before the last day of the expiration of the warranty.
The warranty of any item begins from the date of the invoice. The warranty comes from Compuvest unless the item description specifies the manufacturer's warranty.
SHIPPING CHARGES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE!
Restocking fee for either non-defective, unused or unopened items returned within two weeks is 15%. After two weeks defective items will be replaced, and not refunded. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
No cash refund for all items returned after 14 days from the date of invoice. Store credit is available at current sale price of the returned product. Refund cannot be greater then the original item's price.
All refused packages will be accepted back in stock, and credit will be processed within 1 business day for the merchandise less 15% restocking fee and shipping charge. No exceptions.
Compuvest DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY.
Warranty on all Refurbished items is 90 days (unless specified in product description otherwise). Refurbished products are fully inspected and restored to their original performance, in accordance to manufacturer's specifications. May have some cosmetical blemishes. Contents of refurbished product package may vary from contents listing on retail box.
Prices cannot be negotiated after order submission. Order cannot be canceled after it was shipped.
Prices are good within two days from the date of purchase.
Compuvest reserves a right to make a decision, based on test results, whether to send a replacement, repair the product (by sending it to manufacturer), or process the refund.
Compuvest will not accept products for return that have been physically damaged, burned, abused, misused, neglected, repaired or modified. All other items carry 1- year warranty effective as of invoice date. For other products found to be abused, mishandled, or altered, all warranty will be voided.
Compuvest takes no responsibility for the installation of the product and incorrect operation of your system. We will not be liable for any system, component, or peripheral including, but not limited to, mechanical or electronic damage, lost time, lost wage, lost revenue, or any other damage arising out of the use of, or inability to use our products.
No warranty for any returned items with its serial number or warranty sticker removed by customer.
Any opened software will not be accepted under any circumstances.
All Compuvest suppliers provide excellent warranties and they should be contacted directly using the phone number on the product literature. For additional information, take a look at the "Manufacturer Tech Support Index".
All accessories must be shipped with the returned item, otherwise the return process will be delayed until the accessories are received by our RMA department under the same RMA number.
Typically returns are processed by RMA department of Compuvest within 2 -3 business days from the receipt of the product.
Address correction or rerouting of the package by customer is not allowed, as it is an additional charge from the carrier. If the above occurs customer will be billed additional freight fee based on the bill from the carrier.
Manufacturer's rebates are not refundable in case of return made after the expiration date. Rebate terms need to be obtained from manufacturer directly.
White box/bulk items do not have rebates.
All packaging is bulk unless it states otherwise or specifies the contents (cables, manuals, software, documentation etc).
There is no extended warranty on close out or refurbished items.
CompuVest cannot guarantee any cancelation, modification of an order or a shipping method via e-mail, if customer was not e-mailed with the e-mail confirmation from CompuVest customer service.

Discrepancy & Shipping damage
Compuvest is not responsible for providing a specific delivery service to receiver's area if it cannot be provided by a designated carrier.
We agree to file any damage claim immediately with its designated shipping carrier.
Any incorrect or missing item in the shipment, or a damaged package received by Purchaser must be reported to our customer service within two business days from the date of receiving the products.
After carrier processes the claim and we receive documentation confirming that the claim is not denied, we can proceed with the refund or sending a replacement (carrier may request a damage evaluation of the original package in order to proceed with the claim). Purchaser can check the status of the claim by calling either to the carrier and providing the tracking number (can be obtained from our web-site) or to CompuVest customer service.
Pricing policy

How do I cancel or change the order?
We cannot cancel or change the orders that have been shipped. If this is the case, you will need to either refuse or return the package, which is subject to restocking fees. If the order has not been shipped, we can change it or cancel the order at no additional charge. Please

How does the extended warranty work?
We cover
all new hardware products
(except unboxed CPU) with 1-year warranty unless it is specified otherwise. An
EXTENDED 3-year warranty can be purchased for only 10% of the purchase
, just by checking the "EXTENDED WARRANTY" box in your shopping basket.
New unboxed CPUs normally have 14 days functional warranty and can be covered for 1-year with the "EXTENDED WARRANTY."
What does "EXTENDED WARRANTY" cover?
Automatic upgrade from 1-year to 3-year warranty on all hardware (except CPUs), unless specified otherwise.
Automatic upgrade from 14-days warranty to 1-year on all unboxed CPUs.
What does
NOT
"EXTENDED WARRANTY" cover?
Special items with a limited time warranty such as "Close Out" products, refurbished, returned from customers, and used.
A Wall Street Journal survey found that the average age of computers in 1998 was 2,2 years, while in 2002 this number is projected to be 3,3 years. This means that we use our computers 50% longer then we did just 5 years ago. We hope that this new service will help our customers to increase reliability of the equipment purchased from CompuVest.
